Its chemical molecular formula is TiB2, molecular weight 69.52, density 4.52 g/cm3, melting point 2980 ℃, microhardness 34Gpa, thermal conductivity 25J/m.s.k, coefficient of thermal expansion 8.1×10-6m/m.k, electrical resistivity 14.4μΩ.cm.

    Titanium diboride powder has a high melting point, high hardness, wear-resistant, resistant to acid and alkali, excellent electrical conductivity, strong thermal conductivity It has good chemical stability and resistance to thermal vibration, high oxidation resistance temperature, can resist oxidation below 1100℃, and its products have high strength and toughness.

    Applications

    1. Powder for rocket nozzle, electrical contact and high temperature electrode material, can also be used as abrasive. Used as rocket nozzle, electrical contact, electrode material, etc
    2. Titanium diboride and its composite materials have broad application prospects. Titanium diboride can be combined with TiC, TiN, SiC and other materials to form composite materials, used for wire drawing die, extrusion die, sand blast nozzle, sealing element, cutting tool, armor protection and other materials, is the ideal material for high temperature resistant parts, functional devices. As the cathode material of aluminum electrolytic cell, the power consumption of electrolytic aluminum is reduced due to the good wettability of TiB2 and metal aluminum liquid, and the life of electrolytic cell is extended. It can also be made into PTC heating materials and flexible PTC materials, which are fortifiers for metal materials such as Al, Fe and Cu.
    3. The strengthening effect of aluminum is better than that of silicon carbide whisker. It can be used as reinforcement material for silicon nitride and silicon carbide ceramics. Can also be used as high speed conversion element.

    Storage conditions

    This product is vacuum packaging, should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool environment, should not be exposed to air for a long time, to prevent moisture agglomeration, affecting the dispersion performance and use of the effect.
