Silicon-manganese alloy is an alloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron and a small amount of carbon and other elements. It is a kind of iron alloy with wide use and large yield. Silicon-manganese alloy is a compound deoxidizer commonly used in steelmaking, as well as a reducing agent in the production of manganese metal by low carbon ferromanganese and electrosilicon-thermal processes.

Applications
1.The silicon manganese alloy can be smelted by continuous operation in large, medium and small ore furnace.
2. It has been widely used in steelmaking, its output growth rate is higher than the average growth rate of ferroalloy, and it has become an indispensable composite deoxidizer and alloy additive in steel industry.
3.Silicon-manganese alloy with carbon content below 1.9% is also used for the production of medium and low carbon ferromanganese and electrosilicon-thermal manganese metal semi-finished products.
