Molybdenum trioxide is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula MoO3. It is mainly used for the determination of protein, phenol, arsenic, lead, bismuth, etc. It can also be used as a reducing agent for phosphorus pentoxide, arsenic trioxide, hydrogen peroxide, phenol and alcohol, and can also be used for the preparation of molybdenum salt and molybdenum alloy.

Application
1. It is used as a catalyst in the petroleum industry, as well as in the manufacture of molybdenum metal, enamel pigments and pharmaceuticals.
2. Raw material for powder metallurgy and manufacturing various molybdenum metal materials in metallurgical industry, and as raw material for molybdenum source additive of various molybdenum compounds and molybdenum catalyst in chemical industry.
3.Raw material for preparing metallic molybdenum and molybdenum compounds. Used as a catalyst in the petroleum industry. It can also be used as enamel, glaze, pigment and medicine.
