    Nano-zinc oxide is an N-type semiconductor with a band gap of 3.3-3.6eV and exciton-bound energy of 60meV at room temperature. Nano-zinc oxide has good luminescence function at room temperature. Meanwhile, nano-zinc oxide also has photoconductivity and photocatalytic activity. It has a good application prospect in nanodevices such as light-emitting diodes, photodiodes, waveguide devices, gas sensors and photocells.

    Applications

    1, this product has a large specific surface area and the characteristics of many holes, help to adsorb more dyes, applied to dye-sensitized batteries.

    2, Adding a small amount of nanometer zinc oxide to the electrofluid of the alkaline manganese battery can inhibit the self-discharge of the zinc negative electrode in the electrofluid. The more uniform the dispersion of nanometer zinc oxide in the electrolyte, the more beneficial it is to control self-discharge.
