Applications
1, used as raw materials for making metal dysprosium, glass, NdFeb permanent magnet additive.
2, used in metal halogen lamps, magneto-optical memory materials, yttrium iron or yttrium aluminum garnet, atomic energy industry.
3, dysprosium oxide can also be used as an additive for NdFeb permanent magnets, adding about 2-3% dysprosium to this magnet can improve its coercivity.
