    Features

    Titanium hydride, alias titanium dihydride, chemical formula TiH2. Insoluble in water. It is grayish black in appearance and resembles a metallic powder.

    It is slowly decomposed at 400℃ and completely dehydrogenated at 600~800℃ in vacuum. High chemical stability, does not interact with air and water, but is easy to interact with strong oxidants. The goods are sieved and supplied in different grain sizes.
    Will not disintegrate if used and stored according to specifications.
    Avoid contact with moisture/moisture, acids, halogens, halocarbons, oxides. Avoid contact with water. Stable in air.

    Applications

    Application 

    1.It is used as an getter in the electric vacuum process, as a hydrogen source in the manufacture of metal foam, and as a source of high purity hydrogen. It can also be used to supply titanium to alloy powders in metal-ceramic sealing and powder metallurgy.
    2. Titanium dihydride is very brittle, so it can be used to make titanium powder, it is also used in welding, titanium dihydride heat decomposition, precipitation of new ecological hydrogen and titanium metal, the latter can promote welding, and increase the strength of the weld. It can be used as a catalyst for polymerization.
    3. One of the intermediate products of smelting titanium, it has a wide range of uses in metallurgy and other chemical industries.

    Storage conditions
    This product is vacuum-packed, should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool environment, should not be exposed to air for a long time, to prevent moisture agglomeration, affecting the dispersion performance and use of the effect.
